Terms and Conditions of Transportation

Welcome to Express One Transportation! We are glad you have chosen to travel with us. Below are the terms and conditions that govern the contract of carriage between the Customer/Passenger and Express One Transportation. By purchasing your ticket, you accept and agree to the following clauses, as well as the fare schedule in effect at the time of ticket issuance. The company will assume responsibility only during the trip or transportation in its own vehicles, in accordance with the current fare regulations. It will not be responsible for acts or omissions of other unrelated transportation lines, both within and outside the United States of America.
Express One Transportation will not refuse to provide transportation on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, or ancestry.
Travel Ticket
Data Verification: When issuing the ticket, it is the Passenger's responsibility to verify that all information (dates, times, destinations, and prices) is correct and in accordance with their request. The purchase of the ticket implies acceptance of these clauses.
Personal and Non-Transferable Ticket: The ticket is personal and non-transferable, and will be the only valid proof for traveling on the specified date and time.
Ticket Duplicate: In case of ticket loss, the Passenger may request a duplicate, assuming a fee of USD $10.00 per reprinted ticket.
Changes and Cancellations: Changes, postponements, and cancellations are accepted up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure without additional cost. The physical ticket must be presented for any modification.
Rescheduling: Express One Transportation, LLC allows rescheduling of tickets for round trips with an open date up to three (3) months from the initial travel date. If the ticket is not used on the new date, it will be void and invalid.
A one-way ticket may only be rescheduled on the same day as the scheduled departure date; if not used on that date, it will be void and invalid.
Refund Policy: No refunds or money returns are offered. Only postponements or rescheduling are allowed according to the mentioned conditions.
Identification for Purchases: To complete a telephone purchase, the cardholder must present the card used and an identification. Otherwise, the ticket will not be issued.
Errors and Omissions
Error Correction: Express One Transportation, LLC reserves the right to correct errors or omissions in price and fare information, as well as in any other aspect of the services offered. In case of discrepancies, the most recent and verified information will prevail.
Error Notification: If an error is discovered after purchase, the Passenger will be notified and offered the option to cancel or modify the ticket.
Travel Rates
Rate Changes: Ticket prices may change without prior notice.
Promotions and Discounts: Discounts and promotions are not cumulative or combinable.
Currency: All fares are expressed in US Dollars (USD), unless otherwise indicated.
Minors
Fares for Minors: Minors up to 8 years old are entitled to a reduced fare when traveling with an adult, valid at our offices and terminals. From 9 years old, minors pay the full fare.
Documentation for Minors: When purchasing tickets for minors, a passport or official identification must be presented to verify age.
Accompaniment of Minors: Passengers under 18 years of age cannot travel alone without a notarized parental consent letter.
Luggage
Luggage Allowance: Each passenger is entitled to carry 1 backpack or carry-on bag, plus 1 suitcase not exceeding 50 pounds.
Carry-on Luggage: One piece of carry-on luggage (backpack, bag, or briefcase) with a maximum weight of 20 pounds is allowed.
Traveling with cardboard boxes or laundry sacks is not permitted.
Excess Luggage: Any item that does not meet or exceeds standard specifications, such as weight or bulky items, will be considered excess luggage. This excess will be accepted only if space is available in the Van or bus (where applicable) and will be subject to additional fees.
The price for excess luggage will be posted at the terminals and is subject to change without prior notice.
Luggage Responsibility: Express One Transportation, LLC is not responsible for undeclared valuables or for lost luggage without a tag.
The maximum liability for loss or damage will be $150.00 USD. For any claim, it is essential to present the ticket stub used.
Documentation and Security: Each passenger is responsible for taking care of their own luggage at customs and/or inspection points. The transportation of weapons, illegal drugs, and prohibited objects is strictly forbidden.
Boarding Process
Authorized Terminals: Boarding and alighting will only take place at authorized terminals. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to facilitate the process.
If the passenger does not show up for boarding and does not request a change at least 30 minutes in advance, they will lose the full value of the ticket without the right to a refund or modification.
Required Documentation: At boarding, it is necessary to present the travel ticket and a valid identification document.
During the Trip
Luggage Placement: Carry-on luggage must be stored in the overhead compartments (if applicable) or under the seat so as not to obstruct the aisle.
Behavior Rules: It is mandatory to use the seatbelt at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
Getting up from the seat is not permitted while the vehicle is moving.
Always wait for the driver to open or close the doors to board or alight.
Smoking, consuming alcohol, or drugs inside the vehicle is prohibited.
Disrupting order, harassing, or bothering other passengers or staff is not allowed.
Passengers must respect the instructions of the driver and company staff.
Distracting the driver while the vehicle is in motion is not permitted.
The volume of music or electronic devices must be kept low or used with headphones.
Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians.
All trips have pre-established stops. Drivers are not authorized to make additional stops, except in cases of emergency.
Seat Changes: There may be changes in the bus or seat number, and our staff will inform passengers to ensure the best possible service.
Denial of Transportation
The company may refuse to transport any passenger or may remove any passenger for the comfort or safety of the passenger, for the comfort or safety of other passengers or employees, or for the prevention of damage to property or its passengers or employees. By way of example, it may refuse to transport or may remove passengers in any of the following situations:
Whenever necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, or government directive or request, or when advisable at the sole discretion of the company, due to weather or other conditions beyond the company's control including acts of God, strikes, civil unrest, pandemics, embargoes, wars, and other similar matters of force majeure.
When a passenger refuses to present positive identification when requested.
When a passenger fails or refuses to comply with any of the company's rules or any provision of these Terms.
When a passenger breaches or refuses to comply with the rules or any of the terms and conditions.
When the passenger provides a government-issued photo ID with information that does not match the information on the passenger's ticket.
When the passenger's conduct is disorderly, abusive, violent, or illegal, or the passenger appears to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or in a state of drunkenness due to alcohol consumption.
When the passenger carries alcohol, drugs, weapons, or other prohibited items anywhere on the bus (including storage of such items under the bus).
When the passenger smokes on board the bus.
When the passenger is barefoot.
When the passenger interferes with the activities of the staff or the bus, or does not obey the instructions of any member of the staff or the bus.
When the passenger has a contagious disease that may be transmissible to other passengers during the normal course of travel in the terminal or bus.
When the passenger cannot sit in a seat with the seatbelt fastened.
When the passenger refuses to follow reasonable instructions given by members of the company's or bus crew.
When the passenger's behavior may be dangerous or creates a risk of harm to themselves, the driver, the bus crew, or other passengers, or to the bus and/or company property, or to the property of other passengers.
When the passenger is seriously ill, unless the passenger provides a written doctor's permission to travel stating that he/she is not a threat to health or safety or a risk to themselves or others and is able to travel safely, either alone or with a companion.
When the passenger violates any applicable law or regulation.
Passengers who are denied transportation or are expelled from the bus terminal as a result of any of the above situations will not be entitled to any refund, compensation, or substitute or return transportation of any kind.
Hygiene and Personal Appearance Conditions
To ensure a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment for all passengers, the company reserves the right to deny service to any person who presents inadequate hygiene conditions or causes discomfort to other users. In such cases, the passenger may request a refund or change their ticket for another date, provided that they meet the established conditions.
Service
Schedules and Changes: Schedules are local and subject to change. {companyName}, LLC is not responsible for delays due to causes beyond its control.
Internet Coverage: Internet connectivity is offered, although we do not guarantee its availability in all areas.
Parcel Service
The parcel service is available exclusively from terminal to terminal.
The shipping cost will be calculated based on the dimensions and weight of the package or packages sent.
The following items are strictly prohibited for shipping:
Sharp or cutting objects.
Explosives or flammable materials.
Illegal substances or items prohibited by law.
Firearms or ammunition.
Any other item that may endanger the safety of passengers, staff, or the vehicle.
The company reserves the right to inspect packages before transportation.
The company may refuse to ship packages that do not comply with these conditions or that pose a risk.
Liability
Limitation of Liability: Express One Transportation, LLC shall not be liable for indirect damages, losses, or expenses resulting from delays, cancellations, loss of flights, connections with other companies, or any other inconvenience that may arise during the trip.
It is recommended to travel in advance and anticipate possible inconveniences.
Waiver of Liability: The Passenger waives Express One Transportation, LLC from all liability in case of force majeure events that prevent the fulfillment of the transportation service.
Prohibited Practices
All purchases made by customers must be for actual passengers, with their consent, who intend to travel the reserved route. Consequently, the company prohibits fraudulent, fictitious, duplicate, and impossible/illogical reservations, which violate, among others:
Completing a reservation/purchase with a payment method obtained illegally, such as a stolen credit or debit card.
Obtaining or using the identity of another customer (without the knowledge or consent of that customer) to fraudulently cancel that customer's ticket reservations and claim a refund.
Reserving/purchasing a ticket in the name of another person without their consent.
Booking duplicate or impossible/illogical trips: for example, multiple trips for the same passenger at approximately the same time (i.e., trips that a passenger physically could not complete), multiple trips for the same passenger departing from the same city on the same date, or any multiple reservation containing conflicting or overlapping itineraries (such as departures for the same passenger from multiple cities at the same time).
If these prohibited practices are detected, then, without prior notice to the customer, we reserve the right to do any of the following:
Cancel such ticket reservations and/or any misused proof related to such ticket reservations.
Not provide any refund for such ticket reservations/purchases.
Prevent or blacklist the customer from making future reservations with or through {companyName} and/or bus operators.
Prohibitions
Traveling under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. The company reserves the right to deny service to passengers who do not comply with these rules.
Prohibited Objects: It is prohibited to carry sharp objects, explosives, illegal substances, weapons, and any item that may jeopardize the safety of other passengers.
Inappropriate Conduct: Violent behavior, threats, harassment, and any action that may disturb the peace and well-being of other passengers are prohibited.
Use of Electronic Devices: Passengers are requested to use electronic devices in silent mode or with headphones and not to cause disturbances to others during the trip.
Allowed on the Bus
Allowed Items: Items such as books, electronic devices, pillows, and blankets are allowed. These must be of reasonable size and not interfere with the comfort of other passengers.
Food and Drinks: Consumption of non-alcoholic food and drinks on the bus is allowed, as long as they do not generate waste or mess.
Health and Safety
Health Regulations: All passengers must comply with current health and safety regulations. This includes the use of masks in required situations and following the instructions of company staff.
Emergency Protocols: In case of emergency, established evacuation procedures will be followed. Passengers are advised to pay attention to the driver's instructions.
In Case of Emergency
Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, the driver will give clear instructions on how to proceed. All passengers must follow the safety instructions and cooperate in the evacuation if necessary.
Emergency Equipment: Buses are equipped with safety and first aid equipment. In case of need, the driver should be informed immediately.
Privacy Policy
Data Protection: Express One Transportation, LLC does not sell or share personal information with third parties, except in cases necessary for payment processing or compliance with the law.
Use of Information: Personal information is used exclusively to improve your travel experience and attend to your requests.
Website Terms of Use
Access and Use: Access and use of our website implies acceptance of these terms. Any unauthorized use of the site's content, such as reproduction, distribution, or modification, is prohibited.
Online Security: Express One Transportation takes measures to protect the security of user information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Site Modifications: Express One Transportation reserves the right to make changes and improvements to its website at any time without prior notice.
Complaints and Claims
Complaint Procedure: If you wish to file a complaint or claim, you must do so within 24 hours after the completion of the trip. Complaints can be submitted through our website or at our offices.
Dispute Resolution: Express One Transportation, LLC is committed to resolving any conflict fairly and equitably. If an agreement is not reached, the conflict may be submitted to the corresponding jurisdiction.
Provision for Unclaimed Packages
Unclaimed Packages: Any package that is not picked up or claimed within 7 days after its arrival at the designated location will be subject to disposal in accordance with this Provision.
Notification Process: After 7 days, the customer will be notified, it will be kept for 7 more days, and after the third week the company may dispose of the package.
Package Disposal: Any package not picked up within the total 14 days from the date of arrival will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at the sole discretion of the company. Disposal may include, but is not limited to: destruction, donation, or other means of disposal without compensation or liability to the sender, recipient, or any third party.
No Refunds or Compensation: By accepting these Terms, customers acknowledge and agree that once a package is disposed of, they waive any claim to the package's contents and have no right to a refund, reimbursement, or compensation for the value of the package or its contents.
Waiver of Liability: The company will not be liable for any loss or damages resulting from the disposal of unclaimed packages, as described. The customer waives all rights to file legal claims or seek compensation related to the disposal of unclaimed packages.
